Structural Stress Structural stress is a stress that is a physical entity on the human body. Some examples of structural stress are the following: vertebral subluxations, tight muscles, weak muscles, postural imbalances, torn ligaments, herniated discs, broken bones, enlarged organs, undersized organs, nerve damage, cuts and abrasions to name a few. These types of structural stress inhibit the body from performing at it’s optimal potential. When any one of these structural stresses occur, pain may not always follow immediately. It may take some time for these stresses to build up. Over time, some of these stresses have been neglected and then our body will usually let us know something is wrong. Pain, aches, soreness, and an inability to move through our normal ranges of motion are usually the resulting factors that make us aware of an already existing issue.
